Hi Experts,

                1.I want to lock the items prices (Super User only can change the price if there is any changes in prices). Is it possible? and

                2.How to calculate the base price of a finished item and assembly item?

And          3.What is the difference between "ITEM PRICE" & "UNIT PRICE" & "ITEM COST" & "BASE PRICE"?

Thanks & Regards,

Saikrishna.

Hi,

As per forum rule, one question per thread.

Unit price--->Selling price to customer

Item cost---> Actual product cost

Hi,

Base price:

The base price of the item as defined (or calculated) in the price list selected in the Base Price By field, multiplied by the Items Per Unit quantity in the sales document. If you change this value manually, the values in  Total Base Price, Gross Profit, Profit %, and Base Price By fields are updated accordingly.

Unit price--already replied.

Hi,

     Sorry. I think Item cost and Base price both are same. Isn't it? as well as item price and Unit price?
