Animesh & Gautam,

Aniket never mentioned that he is using reservations.

The unchecked checkbox to which you refer does not have an impact on dependent reservations that are generated by Production Orders.  His stated problem is with dependent reservations, which he has already checked.

Aniket,

You made one change that I implied was causing your 'problem' (you selected 'check without RLT').  However, you also made several other changes that I did not recommend.  If you want to test something, best to change ONE THING AT A TIME and then come to know what is the effect of that change.

Between each iteration of your test(s), delete all production orders and restart from scratch against your test scenario.

I will assume that you have already validated that PP is the checking rule being used by production orders.

Hi Aniket,

Your configuration is incorrect. Try with this setup:

Now you maybe will need to reset and release your availability data in COHV. Here you can see how to setup COHV for mass processing. You will need to sort all your orders by date:

Finally, check your missing part in CO24 and confirm that you only have missing parts for your second order. You can also go directly to CO09.

Thansk and Regards,

Mariano

Dear Gautam,

As already suggested include the check box for reservations in OPJJ for the checking group and

checking rule combination.

And also in my understanding if the component is a batch managed material ,then in OPJK for the

availability check during order release there is a field for release material under batch assignment,by

which you can control by setting the value as 3.(the dependency in this case would be the batch entry

field in MRP2 view must be having the value as 1/3).

Hi

Please select the Include reservation Check box in opjj and Try.

Your scenario is not including reservation..

Try and let me know...

The most likely cause is that lead time as explained by Dogboy. However, if this proves not to be the cause, then a screenshot of CO09 would be helpful.

Aniket,

I suspect that your second production order is confirming on the basis of Lead time, since you have not excluded lead time confirmations in your PP rule.

Hi Aniket,

Reservations Are Just For An infromation Purpose . it will not have any impact on goods issue.

Resarvations Are mailnly used in Material Planning By knowing how much Stock required For Differnt needs in The company.Reservations also considerd in MRP .

Recently i have gone through the same situation and got clarity by Expert answer . so please go through the link.
