use dotx template as Crystal Report design template

Hi,

i have dotx (ms word with header and footer) files. how can i use it as template file for the crystal report design ?

anyway i can do this ?  or any way i can use the dotx template files as background in my crystal report ?

i google alot but look like no way to link the dotx (ms word) to crystal report..

hi Jiann Neow,

you can't use a dotx as a template in any automated way to create report files.

you can add them as a background though by going to Insert > OLE Object and adding them via OLE. please note though this is only good for 1 page objects.
