Approval process

An approver goes on vacation and forget to delegate the approval rights to somebody else. What would be the option those expense reports that are submitted during his absence to be forwarded to somebody else?

a travel admin can set up another approver as substitute/delegate for the corresponding approver, so if an approver is not having access to the system, the admin can take care and delegate to another approver.

A substitute approver can be assigned by either the manager on vacation, the manager approving in his place, or by an Admin user.

The substitute manager must be have an approval role. Then under Application and User Management - > Task Substitutes and Admin can assign substitues and/or full ins.

Or in the Approvals WoC, a manager can click Define Substitutes and perform a similiar action.
