Hi All,
Will it be a good idea to move all the users to BI Launchpad as the future version of webi supports newthings, like free-hand sql, excel as data source.. etc.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Anupam
Hi,
As Ajay addressed, its best to use webi for Users and Rich Client for Developers.
But Proper Sizing based on SAP recommendation and target audience will keep up the server performance even if we use webi in such situations.
Thanks,
Archana

Anupam,
Any reason why the users are NOT already using the BI Launchpad. The new BI 4.x offers so many feature for WebI, Explorer, Dashboard and Crystal Enterprise users now.
Sounds like you have some SDK / OEM version BI running?

Ajay

Anupam,
All you need to do is read the BI Launchpad users guide to see the many features & functions listed for users, see link
http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sbo41/en/sbo41sp4_bip_bilaunchpad_en.pdf
The only users that should using the WebI Rich-Client are the developers, all other users should be using the BI LaunchPad. You are NOT using the BI Enterprise solution properly.
Regards,
Ajay
