2Gb excell data from MS access DB

Hi Techies,

I am using SAP LUMIRA trial version. I want to load data from MS access DB to Lumira. Is it possible with the help of DB drivers.?

Please suggest me how to do it ?

How many Rows x Columns are you hoping to import?  (there are documented limits on the number of Cells that can be acquired. )

Thanks Henry for your quick turnaround .I cant say surely the number of Rows X Columns. I have joined  6 tables each having more that 2000 records. My point straight and simple, I want to export the data from MS Access to Lumira. Is there any solution for this ?

Hi,

it's not so much as 'export data from access' as 'import data into lumira' - and you'll need to use a query language (SQL)

depending on your options/skillset, you can use a BO Universe (ontop of Access), or perhaps a 'generic jdbc' connector would work if you use freehand sql.

Please note that there is no Access specific driver.

I have got solution. I have dumped the data into MySQL later I have connected Lumira with MySQL. Its working and amazing .Thanks for your luminous idea. Its working..

Try the help at page 36 to install the drivers for Access http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/vi01/en/lum_117_user_en.pdf

Why go to Access when Lumira can read Excel directly?
