problem in creating iview programmatically

Dear EP friends,

I am trying to create an iView programmatically following the EP help doc.

At the code below

IiViews iViewSrv =(IiViews) PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(IiViews.KEY);

i am getting errror recorded at log as

com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.PortalComponentException: Error in service call of Portal Component

com.sapportals.portal.prt.core.PortalRequestManager.handlePortalComponentException(PortalRequestManager.java:969)

what would be the problem,

i included the required jar i.e. com.sap.portal.ivs.api_iview_api.jar

any idea ??

    Hi Lakshmikantha,

    Sounds like you are missing a sharing reference in the application-config element in the portalapp.xml:

    <property name="ServicesReference" value="com.sap.portal.ivs.api_iview"/>

    This API is documented at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fd/ea5c42da4de92ce10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm.

    Hi

    I included the

    <property name="ServicesReference" value="com.sap.portal.ivs.api_iview"/>

    in portalapp.xml

    now i am getting different error which i am printing directly on the page as below.

    Error:com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PermissionControlException: Access denied

    I am getting this error even after i assigned Content Administration role to the user
