Dear Experts,
Pls give your valuable inputs for this issue .
Company is recruiting trainees and engaging them as DE Trainees as Grade X.They are not eligible for standard leave of 2.17 per month as we are offering to regular staff. Even though SAP is calculating their leave balance per month automatically from their date of joining.
Now the trainees have completed their training period.Company is going to absorb them in the staff category as Grade Y. They are now eligible for standard Leave of 2.17 per month from their date of absorption.
Please let me know how to create their standard leave from their absorption date. Also inform me how to remove the accumulated leave from their actual date of joining.
Please revert ASAP.

Go to pa30 infotype 0041 maintain hiring date (absorption date) with date specification , then go to base entitlement screen related period is rel to date type , here we have to maintain date specification with certain period for that quota .
If you do not want to generate quota you can control this by table V_503_E there you can group the employees
when ever you want delete particular infotye it may show error messege due to time constraint 1 that time we can go though t code PU00 maintain employe no and click execute, here we can see list of infotype those infotypes we have maitained perticular employe , select infotype click on delete.

If you do not want to generate quota you can control this by table V_503_E there you can group the employees in to a group and according to the grouping you can configure the generation rules for Standard leave.
I.e X grade group 1
Y grade group 2
According to the Group define generation rules.
or else you can go through venkat polineni where you will have the quota balance but employees will not avail the same.
