Profit Center Dummy locked

Hi experts,

In my client Profit Center Dummy is marked as locked in the "Indicators" tab.

based on 702854 - PCA activation/deactivation note it seems that the dummy pc was incorrectly locked ( It is clearly mentioned "...It can never be locked, to enable you to update all relevant postings without an initial profit center....")

Maybe it was "locked" by playing around with the tables...

You need to have a word with your client before proceeding...

ps..have a look at the 515525 - Locking of dummy profit center not permitted note (rather old but includes the correction that makes locking the dummy profit center not possible)

what about the other profit centers? (locked or not).

Probably the Dummy is locked in order to make "obligatory" for all entries to have a meaningful profit center (rather than collecting dummy entries at the end of the period)..
