Inbound Header GR status "Complete" Question

Dear Experts,

Our business scenario.

There are 1000 Qty in EWM inbound delivery

At the first,we create two batch sub item and then fill in batch,

200 Qty Batch 0000001

200 Qty Batch 0000002

And then we push GR botton!

then total 400 Qty GR,

Why the GR Status = "complete" in Inbound Delivery Header?

We only GR 400 Qty.

We think the GR status should be "partial GR" in Inbound Delivery Header.

Please Help us!

    Hi Howard

R u using Std. SAP suggested structure for storage locations? i.e one sloc for "under putaway" & one for "available stock" which are differentiated by availability group linked to storage types ?

I am guessing. May be entire stock is received in to 1st storage location. But only 400 EA are putaway into final sloc? Please check material document posting in ECC Or may be remaining qty of stock posted as difference charged to inbound delivery using exception code ?

Delivery header will always show, aggregated status of line items. This is controlled by status profile linked to document type. You can also check for value of status type "DGR-Goods receipt" in status profile. Some screen shot of del status will help.
