Issue with Fiori Launchpad

Hi

We are trying to test the Fiori Launchpad from internet. The process we are following is described below

1. We have configured the Fiori Launchpad Client

2. We are testing the Launchpad URL with in LAN, it just works fine across all locations when we test this using Chrome Browser

3. When we place the same URL on a DMZ box in order to test from internet; URL fails and the Chrome Network console says it is in "Pending" state. After some time Chrome Browser, fails with the message "This Webpage is not available"

I am attaching the screenshot for your reference taken from the DMZ box.

However, what I am wondering is the Netweaver Service URL with the same host and Port just works fine on the DMZ Box.

Please help me understand what could be the issue?

Additional Details:

Hostname of Gateway Server: abc.company..ad

Hostname of DMZ Server: xyz

Required ports to and from DMZ are opened by the firewall team

Thanks

Hi Range, can you access other pages on that DMZ server? What is running on that server, is it just a reverse proxy in front of the gateway? Have you tried using a fully qualified name for that DMZ server e.g. xyz.company.com

    Hth,

    • Hi Simon,

      Thanks for your response.

I am able to access the Netweaver Gateway Service URl's placed on the same DMZ using reverse proxy from internet.

I have tried using the FQDN as well but no luck, do we need to do some configurations at the backend server in order to use Fiori Launchpad with reverse proxy?
