Creating Transports for MWD->MWT

Hello All -

I am transporting some changes I made to a InfoCube in MWD to MWT. What I have done is activated a navigational attribute in D and what to transport this change to T. when I look at the transport Log it says that my transport is successfull but when I look in T my change has not be transported. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Please Help!!!

    Recently I was trying to solve my problem with business content activation and saw a lot of OSS Notes regarding errors on transporting/activation of infoobjects with nav attribute set/unset. You can search for them.

    But first, enter the IO maintenance screen. What the version it has, 'revised'?

    Does it have an activation icon?

    Does it has a nav attribute switched on?

    What kind of messages do yo have in SLG1, in the log of transporting/activation of the IO?

    Best regards,

      I have figured out what the issue was. I was saving the changes I made to the cube in someone else's transport so I had not released/transported the changes that I really wanted. I had those transports released and then I was able to transport the changes to BW Test.

      Thanks for you Help!!

    I am assuming you mean: BW Dev -> BW Test.

    Check that indeed all the needed objects are in the transport, in this case the Cube tech name.

    if you also changes the InfoObj it also needs to be in the transport list.

    Did you run the Attribute Change? if not do it also in BW Test.

      I have transported the InfoObject and it went through successfully. I have saved my cubes in seperate transports so I transport them individually. By Attribute change, I am assuming that you are talking about Master Data. IF so, I have done this in BW Dev. Do I need to do it in BW Test as well? I don't see why I would need to do this since I have not yet loaded any data to the new attribute. As of right now it is blank in BW Test.
