Dear All Experts,
I need some strong information of SAP PM Integration With Other Modules (path also where we used to map) in details as i have to know in detailed way.
Please help its urgent.
In advance Thanks to all of you for your for your help/support.
Thanks
Sushant
Dear Sushant Kumar,
As PM point of view the following Points you can consider as "Integration with Other Module".
1. Material Reservation and Issue for stock material - MM
2. Material procurement for Non-Stock Material - MM
3. Service procurement (MO > PR >PO > SES ) - MM
4. Refurbishment process with valuations - MM, CO
5. Storage location need to be created for refurbished and damaged goods - MM
6. Scrap (Used spares) return process - MM
7. PR / SES Approval procedure required to get approval from Maintenance Heads (e.g. Executive Directors, Chief Engineer etc) before getting approval from Unit Heads - MM
8. Internal Labor costing for maintenance order and settlement. Suitable activity types and price has to be created for maintenance labors (Fitter, Electrician, Welder etc). - CO
9. Spares costing for maintenance order and settlement - CO
10. External service costing for maintenance order and settlement - CO
11. Suitable Cost elements has to be identified and grouped for Internal labor, Material and Service - CO
12. Suitable Cost centers has to be identified for Equipment and Functional location - CO
Experience is more important rather then IMG Path. Hope it will help you.

Hi
Take it this way , you want to repair equipment (PM), you need spares but these are in stores or have to be bought , that means when you specify your components in PM order for it to generate a requisition or reservation you are integrating with MM(inventory and procurement), if those spare parts are bought they need to be paid for , definitely you need a G/L account (FI) and for settlement of costs incurred you now integrate with CO. you may think of the same for other modules.

Sushant,
In non-sap terms I often think of integration this way. When an action in one module hits objects of one or more other modules then it is integration. In PM module if a business process starts and ends with a Notification as an objective to capture and analyze Equipment History/ Health only., then I'd like to say that here PM is SAP-PM not ERP-PM, means no integration. On the other side when a Notification is extended into a Maintenance Order or a Maintenance Order is created directly, it starts hitting other modules, like MM for Purchanse Requisition, Material Reservations / Movements, FI for Costs QM for Inspection Lots, etc etc.. So when you start configuring a PM Order fully in the Customizing path, you'll be automatically integrating with these Modules.
Rest for specifics surf through the many threads available in SCN /Google.

Hi Sushant,
Apart from the threads updated by our friend Rakesh, i would like to add few more integration aspects with respect to PM
PM-PS
In the maintenance Order under Control tab you can give WBS element from Project system which will be used as integration from PS and PM. Once you do TECO to maintenance order and while doing settlement you can settle the actual cost to WBS element to which it was assigned.
Basically this is required if you want to capture the maintenance cost at project systems level
PM-Real estate
you can use PM components to plan and carry out service or maintenance activities for Real estate object such as Buildings, apartments owned by your own company and another component CS is used for billing services performed on Real estate objects owned by a customer
