Hi guyz,
Just want to ask if I can deactivate objects I have already activated in BI content? If so, how will I do it?
For example, how will I deactive 0CALMONTH or 0TCT_C01 cube?
Thank you!
Loeda
Hii,
You must have activated the mentioned objects in dev system
Just don't transport them to prod system and delete them from dev system if you wish.

Hi Deactivating the activated contents is not possible the only ways are 1. to delete them 2.Or you can use the Match or copy to bring back to the delivered version. You will lost all the customization done so far

So deleting them is somehow the right way of DEACTIVATING them since I can still activate them when needed? Am I right?

hi Loed,
You cannot deactivate something you have installed from BI content. You can, however, abandon them - i.e, not use them in your daily loads etc. You can also try deleting the objects you are not using and not transporting them from your Dev system further down the flow.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Sheen

Hi,
once you activated the info objects or target if not possible to deactivated them ex- 0CALMONTH or 0TCT_C01
but you want deactivate go to change mode then just check and save don't activate after any changes adding the attr into 0CALMONTH.
you want deactivate the 0TCT_C01 add the some more objects to target don't activate just save.
other take the system restore.
don't want the objects create the one info area maintain the objects.
not using the objects don't transport to QAS, PRD.
transport only used objects.
Thanks,
Phani.

I do not think objects can be deactivated once installed from business content.
You may delete unused objects and re-instal from business content when required.
Other option would be system restore back to the point.
