effect of adding attributes to infoobjects

Hi Gurus,

I wanted to add 2 new attributes and convert 3/4 display attributes to Nav attributes of the info object 0DOC_NUMBER. Now, 0DOC_NUMBER is used already in different active data targets.......if 1 do the enhancement of 0DOC_NUMBEr, what will be the effect on the data targets which contain it???do i have to do something , like reactivation of the update rules or something to ensure that the enhancement does not have any effect on the data target????

Adding new attributes aint so hard.

You can just add it, but after activation and loading you have to do the attribute change run.

Since you're only dealing with MD you don't have to do new loads for Transaction data.

Normally you don't have to do any adjustments to Update Rules (since it is transaction data). Only when you have MD look ups it could be possible. But in standard Update Rules you can just add your attributes.
