Can we use SAP BW 3.5 user authorizations (SSO) in SAP BI 4.1 crystal 2013?

There is no specific information over internet whether we can use SAP BW 3.5 SSO in Crystal reports 2013 or not.Please throw some light on this.

Do you have any idea while migrating crystal reports from 2008 to 2013 based on BEx 3.5 "Is there any way we can edit the mapping of fields through database change source ,if we have opened the crystal 2008 report in crystal 2013 and have mapped once?"

HI Vidhi,

I don't think that BW 3.5 is even supported with BI 4.1.

But if you are able to connect to it using CR and select queries then your authorization should work fine.

Hi Jatin,
We were able to map fields through MDX Query but the data in Crystal 2008 & crystal 2013 doesnt match.
We are using the same datasource for both CR2008 & CR2013,but the query automatically changes after mapping i Crystal 2013.

Let me know if you have any idea about this?

Hello,

in this case. The oldest supported Version of SAP BW for CR 2013 is SAP BW 7.01 SPS6+.

Please check the PAM on Page 18.
