ID Mapping

Hi All,

I am suppose to do ID mapping for ERP sales Orgs,Offices, Groups, ERP Materials etc.

Now when i am entering the details and select the system instance ID as my created communication system and click on go i am confused what to select?

Or do we need to to initial load from ERP to perform ID mapping.

Can you please guide me for the same. Attaching the screenshot for the reference.

ID mapping for integration screen, there are two buttons to download the id mapping template and existing ID mapping. You need to install SAP plugin in Excel. you can find that in download link at top right corner of your tenant.

You need to open the template and maintain appropriate mapping and click on save button in Excel plugin.

How the Sales org, offices , groups and materials are created initially ? Do you have existing implementation with any other system ?

You can either maintain the ID mapping using UI. As per screenshot External ID column is editable and you can manually enter the appropriate ERP value. Or their is ID mapping template where you can maintain the mapping using excel plug-in.

You can also load the objects from ERP system using sap delivered program. but you will be updating c4c the data in that case.

Manually doing it is difficult as we have 10,000+ materials in SAP ERP which needs to be replicated to C4C or mapped in C4C along with sales orgs, units etc.

How we can achieve the same in this case can you please elaborate it more.
