How to set default 'location' in Serial number setup

Hi Expert,

                   We are using SAP B 8.81 PL-10. we want to set by default location like "Bangalore" In Serial Number setup.How can we do this.Please suggest me.

Hi,

Assign this FMS in location field,

select top 1 olct.Location from owhs inner join OLCT on OWHS.Location = OLCT.Code

Note: If you have more that one location, this FMS won't help you.

Hi,

I don't think it is possible to set default location under serial number setup window. Manually enter the location.

Ok First all you tell me ...

1. how many warehouses you are using in current scenario.

2. What is exactly default location for each Warehouse.

3. Are you using any type FMS to Create Serial No automatically.

Hi Ambesh,

                    Thanks For your response. Here we are using 10 warehouse and all warehouse having same location like' Bangalore'.No currently we are not using any FMS.
