Hi Explorer,

first, the question should have gone to the KM forum.

> make use of KM API to build File repositories

The KM API (better: Repository Framework API) is an abstraction layer on top of the Repository Managers.

> With out KM Installed

... you - of course - cannot make use of any KM API ...

The rest of the question is not very clear...

Hope it helps nevertheless

Detlev,

I have a SAP KM related question for you: Have you ever heard of an architecture that integrates a CM Repository (FSDB, or just DB) from another portal? For example, I might have two portal servers... but want to share a single repository so that one portal is used for authoring and mgmt of the KM content, and the other portal is a view into the content?

If this is not possible, have you ever seen an architecture that would allow one to publish content from one portal to another portal KM repository?

This question is related to a project I'm working on that has both Internal and External portal requirements.

Regards,

James
