Data Migration Option of SUM - Unicode conversion no longer possible

We were about to start migrating our 7.02 non-Unicode BW system to 7.4 on Hana, including the conversion to Unicode using the SUM DMO function, but the main note about it has just had a comment added :

---------------------< D024828 08/JUL/2014 >-------------------------

Currently no Unicode conversion possible

The automatic conversion from a non-Unicode system to a Unicode system during the update with DMO is not possible until further notice. This function will be available again shortly. Check this SAP Note regularly for updates.

Does anyone have anymore information about this such as how long it may be before this function is available again ?

It is better to raise Message to SAP to get the clear information on DNO tool instead of refering here.

Hello, yes we did eventually get some clarification from SAP and they updated the note to clarify that the unicode issue only affects SP11 of SUM, so we have reverted back to using SUM SP10. Thanks.
