Author name does not show up for documents

Hi,

In one of our portal pages, there are a couple of documents out of which for the first 2 documents, the author name does not show up. When I clicked on the Context menu for each of the 2 documents and went to Settings, Properties, I do see the Created property and the date/time & Person who created it. Can anyone please help me?
