SD-CAS migration to S/4 Hana

Hello All,

We have currently a customized soultion in our ECC System which uses the Basic functionality and BADI/FMs/Tables from SD-CAS (Computer Aided Selling) Module.

Now we want to migrate to S4 HANA and we need to check the dependencies that we need to take care of before migration.

However, SAP has in the NOTE https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2214585/E mentioned that SAP Sales Support (SD-CAS) is no longer available in S4 HANA.

Now, my question is that SAP has also said that there will be support for older application in S4 HANA, but no new implementation can be done. Can someone tell me that since we are migrating to S4 HANA, will we be able to use the exsisting functionalities, like BADI/Tables/FMs, although we do understand that we might not be able to use SD-CAS transcation codes for anything new in S4 HANA.

Regards

Manpreet Singh

Since SAP Customer is no longer supported (Business Partner will take over). I suspect underlying code won't work either

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2267375

"We recommended that you use SAP CRM on-premise (side-by-side with SAP S/4HANA) or SAP Cloud for Customer."

But SAP CRM on-premise will come out of support 2025 - and it's unclear whether SAPs target by then will be for a full S4Hana CAS solution. They are already moving pieces of SAP CRM on-premise into S4HANA (eg in 2018 the Service side of things including interaction centre is moving in)
