db2iupdt: error while loading shared libraries: libdb2ure2.so.1

Dear Experts,

I have the above issue when upgrading DB2 10.5 fix pack to FP3a (currently FP3 V10.5).

The error message is as follow:

tstbwprd:/db2/db2jp1/db2_v10.5FP3a/instance # ./db2iupdt db2jp1

./db2iupdt: error while loading shared libraries: libdb2ure2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

We don't have kind of issue for FP1 and FP3. either for abap and java (2 instances in 1 server)

Please advise.

Have you tried to reinstall the database software to the correct location and then perform the instance update?

Hello Hugo,

Thanks for reminding me, i just removed the installation and create a new FP3a installation and retry the update, it works.

What happened with the first installation?
