Assignment details in RRI

Hi all,

Greetings!

Could anyone please clarrify me on Assignment details in RRI.Really i am confusing. What is the purpose of those. I am not able to find any differences of selection types and infoobjects. One more doubt once we assign to any infoobject or variable based on that only it jumps to the receiver or anything else? I mean select that particular infoobject and goto>>> then only it jumps to the receiver.

Please clarify me. You are not able to understand my question please post, i will give in detail..

Hi Satish,

Assignment details are used to pass specific paramater values or infoobject values from the main report , it might some time happen that all filter values in the main report might not pass as expected to the jump query . Assignment details in this case can solve the problem
