Update to Infocube fails

Hi Guru's,

This is in Development Environment.

I am working with a process chain,this loads data from R/3 into ODS and further updates in to Infocube.

the problem is, my update failed in the process chain for infocube.

reason : '20020001' for 0date is not plausible.

My characteristic is 0doc_date which is reference char of 0date.

To my surprise the same entry is accepted by PSA and ODS and it is showing error when loadin to infocube.

What can be the reasons for accepting into ODS..

no custom defined routines also ..

Please let me know what can be the reason???

Hi,

Eugene is correct. '20020001' is not a correct date. The value is accepted in PSA and ODS because no sid is taken in these load steps. Posting to the cube, the system is checking the values against master data to derive the sid's and with your value for 0date the system recognizes that the 1st of 00 in year 2002 is not a valid date.

So correct the value and you will be able to post the data to the cube.

01.00.2002 is not acceptable, change to real date.
