Next planned counter for single counter plan

I've observed a curious thing that I'd like some feedback on. For a single counter plan, where my cycle is 546, i had a work order called for July 8 with planned counter 1446. I confirmed the work order. Then via IK11 I enter an actual counter reading of 1000 and system created next planned counter reading of 1564 (for July 18).

Now I repeat the same, this time entering actual counter reading of 1600. This time, instead of creating planned counter of 2146, it created planned counter reading 2128.

To summarize, in first example it used actual counter reading (1000) for the 546 cycle offset. In second example, it used the prior planned counter reading (1564) for the offset. The only difference between the two is that in first example, my actual counter reading (1000) was less than planned (1446). In second example, the actual counter reading (1600) was greater than planned (1564). Does this explain the system's behavior and is there any setting that can alter it? (I would prefer always to do the next planned reading as an offset from latest actual reading)

Thanks, Vlad

I hope, still you are keeping the same plan which was discussed already (). There are many data that influences the Next Plan Date, Plan Counter Reading, etc.,

To get a expected results, as mentioned already, some set of data should be followed. Unless, we replicate this scenario in our system, its not much possible to do the analysis.

Between 6th Call & 7th Call, there is only 4 days difference. Also, Measurement reading didn't have the difference to create new call.

As per your Annual Estimate (29000), daily usage would be 80 approx. Even 564 (Cycle Value) can be covered with this Daily Estimate (80) by 7 to 8 days only. But it created call object in difference 4 days. Have you changed Annual Estimate in between??

As mentioned in your mentioned thread, its mostly possible for us to give some clue on the issue & what should be done in the other Maintenance Plans which will make this not to happen. For some of the issues, its not possible to give solution to correct or to give reasons why it happened.

    Hope you understood.

    • Whats your Start of Cycle Counter Reading??

Please provide the sequence of steps which you have done though it has been mentioned in your initial query.

Its not very clear about your steps sequence & the issue. Also, explain the issue which you are facing in more clear way.

In your Measurement document screen shot, 4th Measurement document has been created on 07/01/2014. 5th Measurement document has been created on 06/12/2014.

Is there any confusion?? Date of Measurement document creation is not in sequence.
