SAP Folders Management: How to integrate SAP Workflow

Dear SAPers,

I am currently working on a SAP Folders Management - Example TC: SCASE.

NOT CRM and NOT TC: Organizer.

I would like to set up a rolebased workflow within my rolebased case/Folders Management (TC: scase) , so that every user who is a part of the workflow will get his related workflow item into his inbox.

What i know so far is, what even might not be correct:

- Trigger Worklfows through BO2022

- Change the status to the related values and define the processor (Header of a case) to start the workflow

- set up the customizing TC: SCASE_CUSTOMIZING: Case Management --> Process Route --> ...

I really don't get the whole picture how to set up an easy dummy to understand the integration of SCASE and Workflows. Ho can I really integrate a workflow and break it down to workflow items, send them to the related users and actually start the process?

    Hi Simon,

    To use workflow within Folders Management you need to take a few steps like:

    • Setup a Case type (with "uses a route" flag)
    • Customize Status Profile for this Case type (you should assign WF events INPROCESS and COMPLETED for certain statuses)
    • Customize Functions Profile for Case type (to use Path component)
    • etc
