How do you prevent users from corrupting the InfoObject data when using APD?

Hi Henry,

The Question is not that clear.Can you explain in Detail.

You want the developers not to  access the INfoobject or is it that you dont want the Developers to restrict using APD.

In any case ,the Auth Objects have to be used but if the Q is clear then we can propose the solution accordingly.

Thanks... Sorry for the late reply... just returned from vacation

My understaning is that APD allows users limited ability to change data that could affect infoobjects. We don't want that to happen... Are you using APD?

Henry,

Not a problem.

As said, Just give the display access to maintain master data for the users.

Talk to your security team, the Auth Object S_RS_IOMAD should have activity type 03.

Yes we are using APD ...
