Hi CO Experts,
I want to Cost a 'Configurable Material'. However, system issue an error message that costing cannot be done for Configurable Material.
Background:
The Configurable check is activate for a material for a different purpose and not for Variant Configuration. The Material is unique and doesn't have any Variants. It has its own Production BOM and routing.
Iam looking to do an enhancement to cost such material. The question is:
(1) Are there any standard enhancements that can allow to do a "standard cost estimate" (CK40N/ CK11N) for a configurable material
(2) Will this have any downstream impact.
Thanks
Abhishek Kumar
Hi Abhi
System is working as designed and you can't change this behaviour.
Why do you have to mark it as configurable material if it is not?
You can mark it as configured material and assign the variant material in MRP views
Note that configured and configurable are two different things
