Hi Irene,

I am unable to understand your question. Would you clarify a bit more what exactly you want to do?

Yes.

I upload my application component through the MI WebConsole.

After I sucessfully upload the component, I found in the details of the uploaded component that the download path of the component doesn't work.

Just as follows:

......

......

Installed On *****

Installed By *****

Changed On *****

Changed By *****

DEFAULT

WEBSERVER *****

LOCALPATH *****

WEBPATH *****

Test Download Link of the Mobile Application: *****

The webserver is not the same server as the MI WebConsole, and it doesn't work at all.

So, I have to change the webserver. But I don't know where and how can I change

hello irene,

had your tried checking on the "Use IP instead of host

name" checkbox?

to edit your registered application info, go to

"Upload Mobile Component" tab and click on the Edit icon

on the left part of the record list which corresponds to

the application you had just uploaded.

your application is uploaded to the same host as your

web console application is running on. if you like to

point it to a different server where you have your

archive accessible, you have to change your mcd

deployment attributes on your middleware. try the ff:

1)run tcode: mi_mcd

2)click on Create Mobile Component

3)Enter Mobile Solution Name and Version

4)Click on Display MCD

5)Select Deployment Tab

6)Click on Edit

7)Change the values of WEBSERVER and WEBPATH location eg.

if your archive is located at

http://myotherserver:80/archive/myapplication.war

your entry will be:

WEBSERVER: http://myotherserver:80

WEBPATH: /archive/myapplication.war

where you myotherserver is the name of your http host

server and myapplication.war is the name of your archive.

the archive directory is just a virtual directory where

your application archive is.

you might need to change the port number depending on

your http server port.

I mean the transaction code 'MI_MCD' does not exist in my server, because the server has not installed MI 2.5, it only installed ME 2.1.

I think there should be something like a tcode for administrator to change the settings of the ME server.

Where and how?

Thanks

hello irene,

sorry for the late reply.

in 2.1 try the function module

ME_JSP_SMOMO_MSD_GET_DETAIL

you can also edit the MEMSD_CUST

table directly.

i don't have a 6.2 based system

to check on this. but i think the

function module is there.

hello irene,

do you have any ABAP background?

if you have, it is very simple to write a report program

to edit the said table.

if you don't have any background, let me know...

perhaps i can find sometime to write a simple one.

jo
