Link attachment(Contract) with SAP R/3 and IXOS

I have an scenario, whenever a contract gets created and the same data will be sent by xml format to Deliveryware system. And Deliveryware will create PDF against XML.

And we have job which will pick the PDF file to IXOS system.

Now my actual requirement is to link the document to Contract(ME33K), actual document will be IXOS but the document can be viewed in R/3.

Is there any settings to do apart from OAC2 and OAC3.

Regards,

Vadamalai A.

Hello All,

I have done the necessary steps.

1. Configure content repository id using OAC0

2. Create document type in OAC2

3. Link the Content Repository id with Object type using OAC3.

Hi,

I never play with Ixos, but for me it's the same has Http content Server. The difference is the content repository : OAC0

You will do with DMS or with GOS ?

Hello Fred,

Thanks for your reply.

How to attach the document to relevant transaction(ME31K)? is there any function module to attach?

And when I use attachment list in ME33K, Title of document as 'PDF Files (Acrobat)' Now I wanted to rename the name of file.
