Error OBJECTS_LOCKED_? in SPAM/SAINT update

Former Member

Hi

I'm trying to import a SPAM/SAINT update. I have extracted the .CAR files to usr/sap/trans, imported using SPAM > Support Package menu > Load packages > From application server.

The import process always fails with this error:

Error in phase: OBJECTS_LOCKED_?

Reason for error: CANNOT_GET_OBJECT_LIST

Return code: 0008

Error message: OCS Package SAPKD64019 does not exist

If I select Goto > Object list > SPAM/SAINT Update there is an error:

Request/task SAPKD64019 does not exist

Request/task SAPKD64019 cannot be edited because it does not exist in this R/3 System.

The same error occurs if I try to import any add-ons using SAINT.

Can anyone suggest where I may have something not configured correctly or not set up?

SAP is set up on a single server on Windows Server 2003 / MS SQL Server. It's mySAP ERP ECC 5.0 SR1. It's just been setup and these are the first updates I am trying to do.

Thanks.

I'd previously tried the update suggested in the note but no luck. I've since reinstalled the system, patched it and the problem didn't recoccur - it may have been something wrong with the first install which meant the update didn't fix anything.
