Find a BADI for datasource enhancement

Dear All,

As we all know that a BADI RSU5_SAPI_BADI is used to enhance fields of the standard datasource..

Let us assume that i don't know this BADI name. So could you please suggest me how can i find this BADI.

Do i need to check the program of RSA3 t-code or some other t-code?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Kushal

    HI,

you can find the BADI in TX- SE18 -> click on the BADI name then display.

in RSA3 also you can check while seleting the debug mode.

    Thanks,

    Phani.

    Hi Kushal,

You can find the BADI name by,

    1. Go to Transaction SE24
    2. Enter the Object Type CL_EXITHANDLER and click on Display.
    3. Double Click on method "GET_INSTANCE".
    4. Put a Break-point on Call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface
    5. Run RSA3 transaction and execute the DataSource.
    6. The execution will stop at the break point.
    7. Check the values of variable 'exit_name', it will give you the BADI name called at that time.

    Thanks,

    Kokila

      Hi Kokila,

I am aware of this way of finding a BADI and if you execute RSA3 we dont get RSU5_SAPI_BADI but MCEX.

So please let me know the tcode i need to check.

      Thanks in advance.

      Kushal
