Issue with Message logs in SAP PI

Hello All,

In our SAP 7.4 we have configured cancellation job with retention period parameter value as 30 days but still I can see many messages getting cancelled before that period and Message logs are as below,

Admin action:Trying to fail message

Message status set to Failed.

So , if suppose any user is cancelling it manually then why USERID is not getting reflected here..so does it cancelled by system user or Dialog user ?

Hello Mate,

but i have configured cancellation job(with Type Cancel) with parameter 'Older Than' 720 hours(30 days), but i have seen few cases wherein messages cancelled within two days after getting into system error (NDLV status).

I am really struggling to identify this..

Hi Shiv,

Userid is only reflected if it is cancelled by a user. If a message is cancelled with the cancel job you won't see any userid.
