How to Refresh/Create Instance for many Documents?

Hi.

Im on BO 3.1 and I need to refresh a bunch of reports at the same time. Literally I do not need to refresh them, I need a new Instance for each of those reports. I thought, this could be done with a publication, but I had no success. Is there an option I've overseen?

Are there other alternatives to creating a bunch of single schedules?

What did not work on Publication?

You can schedule all the reports at the same time. Create a separate recurring schedules at the same time and get the instances.

Or you can try publication?

I get new Instances, yes.

BUT If I do a right click on the report, I do not see the new instance. The new instance is in the publication, but I need them to stick on the report. I do not want to publish a bunch of reports, I want to refresh them. The instance should be accessable from the original report via right click View Instances.

Only way is schedule them at the same time. Depending on the time takes to refresh the reports, it will generate instances.

Its no problem, if the refresh of the different files isn't in sync, I just do not want to create a schedule for every single report, I'd like to have one schedule for all reports. That's why I tried publications.

Your only option is to use SDK to schedule.
