No WorkItem After Lock Table OverFlow

Hi,

after a system error due Lock Table OverFlow, already solved by BASIS team, we have a strange case, some workflow task don't send workitems into Inbox of users.

For task TS00008046 and TS96000001 we are not able to receive WorkItems, for each task the last workitem genereted is at date/time of Lock Table OverFlow error, as example for TS96000001:

It's an ECC 6.00 box, with :

Hi

First we need to find out if any instance of the task  TS00008046 is generated or not and then check why isn't it going to any user.

Did you try checking in SWI2_FREQ by specifying the task  TS00008046 in task filter and the date range AFTER the issue was resolved? Are there any instances of this task generated in the system?

If yes, do we see the agent in the log for that task ? if not, what do we see there? any erorr? or no agents?

Sure, After Lock OverFlow no one message, last entry in SWI2_FREQ for task TS00008046 is the same as Lock issue.

Hi

SWI2_FREQ is the place, where you already checked, for any generated instance.

if we are sure that IDOC Notification should have been generated and is not generated, please check if the config for the same is correct or not (not sure how it will change on lock overflow, but you can check).

Refer note 44416 for various idoc notification configs to check for (I know it is of lower release, however, you still can get the steps to check the config in your system).

OK, so it's not the linkage being deactivated. The log shows the check function failed. Check what FM is entered in SWETYPV, it is raising an exception for those IDOCs.

This is a standard mechanism to suppress workflows under conditions coded into the check FM, so on a purely technical basis the system looks to be functioning correctly.

Hi,

Clarify on this : How you decided the task TS00008046 is not sending work items to the agents?

Have you checked the workflow log for any of the work items of this task? If yes, share the technical log screen shot.

Just for a Note(I think you have already observed): "ORDERS input error " this is the short description of the Task.

Task  TS96000001 does not exist in my system.

Because there isn't any workitem into Inbox, there are several IDOCS ORDER type created during the day time and no one person has got receive messages. Until Lock Table OverFlow we receive several messages due IDOC problem such (material error code, etc). If we check from WE02/BD87 we can see IDOCS with normal error but we haven't any message into Ibox. For other tasks it always the same.

mhmm... how can I check it? Form SWEL tcode?

An example of message for IDOC ORDER that we are not able to receive now:

"Material 8013232516333 is not defined for sales org.9101 , distr.chan.90 , language FR"
