Remove/hide Details Panel Arrow

Hi,

Is there a way using Design Studio or CMC to remove or hide the Details Panel arrow that appears in the middle of the scrollbar? See screenshot below.

Thanks,

Anders

    Hi All,

My name is John Costello and I am a Product Owner with Design Studio. I just wanted to let you know that as of BIP 4.1 SP3 an enhancement has been implemented to allow iframes to be removed from Open doc links.

    To apply try the following:

Append the property &noDetailsPanel=true” to your open doc URL link:

So for example your URL would be:

    Hope this helps

    Regards

    John

    Hi Anders,

I think this is the same or very similar question:

No confirmed solution is provided there but you can read through it to get some further thoughts.

    Hello,

I am not sure that the answer is fully correct.

From what I have seen so far, it is not possible to hide completely the DetailsPanel.

I have tested the &noDetailsPanel=true command at the end of the Opendocument url but it is not working.

The details panel is compressed on the right but not completely hidden.

Moreover, if I do &noDetailsPanel=false the details Panel is still compressed so for me there is no impact from this command.

Is there anyother options to activate at the same time ?

I precise that I am on BI4.1 SP3 of course.

Thanks for any inputs you may have.

    Hello John,

open doc property &noDetailsPanel=true” really worked for me. I have another requiremnt to hide left side panel too (prompt & search buttons), Can I know the property command that I can use in open doc ulr to hide the panel?

    Thanks,

    Madhu

    Hi all,

Can I check I'm getting this right? The URL I'm linking to is:

    http://xxxx:8080/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=AZvO9ZpR3v5PgwSEv2P1OyI&noDetailsPanel=true

And after the Prompt, I still see the panel..

The Script I'm using behind an 'OnClick' event of a text field in DS is:

    APPLICATION.openNewWindow("http://xxxx:8080/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=AZvO9ZpR3v5PgwSEv2P1OyI&noDetailsPanel=true");
