Hi ,
From the order type dependent parameters -Planning tab of the Process Order -Order Type - I understand there is a check box form SCRAP and the F1 help of that says :
Flag that indicates that scrap is planned for the order, and that scrap can be confirmed.
If this flag is set for an order type, you can specify a scrap quantity:
The confirmed scrap quantity is displayed in the respective operation of the process order.
If this flag is set, you may not use material quantity calculation.
I afraid I can not use the MQC ( Active Ingredients Management ) for the orders created with the Order Type for whose order type dependent parameters is checked for the SCRAP check box
can any one provide clarification on this
Thanks ,
Madhu Kiran
Hi madhu,
normally in process industries scrap recording is very less use, so if your business want to record Scrap in your business you can use this option.

Venkat ,
Thanks for the reply . But my question is along with this indicator set is there any harm using the functionality of Material Quantity calculation for the order created with that order type for which this indicator of scrap is set ?
to use both of the functions do i need to make any more changes ??
