How to create/add new Serialization Procedure in Serial Number Profile

Dear Expert

1) I want to add new serialization procedure in Serial no. Profile apart from those which are given by SAP (MMSL, PPAU etc). Can anyone please tell me the procedure to do it.

2) Is POSL (Serial Numbers in Purchase Orders) and PRSL (Serial Numbers in Purchase Requisition) are the standard Serialization Procedure??

Hi Shiv,

For your question 1:

These serialization procedures are standard SAP defined, but please you can you tell us which business scenario need a new serialization procedure?

And Question 2:

POSL and PRSL are standard for Business Stream Purchasing but As of ERP6.0 with Enhancement Package 4, two new procedures are made available for purchasing also (only) after the activation of the Business Function LOG_MM_SERNO.
