Setting to release networks everytime

Good Morning Everyone,

Actually users in my company wants not to release network everytime. As of now, WBS gets auto release as when new WBS gets created but when users create new network. I need to release network individually. May I know the reason why we need to do this. ? Is there any setting we can make networks auto release

Hi Franklin,

Go to OPSC (Network Type Change/View) , there is a field called "Release Immediately" at the bottom.

Just tick and see the result. Basically, it is a setting for network type which you often use in network type parameters also. So go to your network type and do the changes accordingly.

Hi Frankie,

Try using CNMASS. Go to Networks Tab and select "Released" and pull it on the left panel on selection criteria and tick it. Mark New Value is Ticked.

Hi,

For release of newly created Networks, go with Amit's suggestion and is correct.

For existing networks, as I think network status will not affected, you have to mass release the networks manually. LSMW is an option here.

Why mass releasing it manually when you have CNMASS. Try it. It will work.
