Generating a setup file for a webservice

Hi ,

Iam just wondering : why always there is no sufficient resources when it comes to Powerbuilder & .Net/Web

For my case I've created a simple web service to retrieve some data , it works well on my PC . and now all I need is creating a setup file for it ,so I can deploy it on a server .

when I tried it failed to create setup file , no more errors or details !!!!

Iam using PB 11.5 . and I search for any similar cases on web but no luck .

I hope anyone could help on this .

    Hello Ahmed,

    To troubleshoot this error, look at the generated DeployLog.txt file which may help finding why the MSI file was not created:

    Hi Ahmed;

    If you are using MS-Windows 7 - make sure that the PB IDE is run as "Admin". The WS deployment MSI works great for me only when I do that.
