DBACOCKPIT - WEB PAGE CANNOT DISPLAY- WORKGROUP PC

Experts,

I need your help in fixing my below issue as I am building a system for function consultants and stuck at particular point.

Using Windows 2008 environment with Sybase Database .Note:This PC is in Workgroup not in domain.

I do not have any issues if the system is in domain and applied the same related notes and activities

Issue:Not able to access the DBACOCKPIT.Web page cannot be displayed after the login information.

Steps worked:

1.Activated all the services in SICF related to dbacockpit

2.Applied all relevant notes related to Dbacockpit.

3.System Name & Hostname : ERPTEST

4.Added the relevant info in Windows Host file as below

#192.168.2.10 ERPTEST ERPTEST

5.Configured the below in default profile

icm/host_name_full=ERPTEST

saplocalhostfull = ERPTEST

SAPLOCALOST=ERPTEST

icm/server_port_0=PROT=HTTP, PORT=80$$ ,PROCTIMEOUT=300 ,TIMEOUT=600

icm/server_port_1=PROT=SMTP ,PORT= 25000

icm/server_port_2=PROT=HTTPS, PORT=44300 ,PROCTIMEOUT=300 ,TIMEOUT=600

I also did some workaround like adding the fake domain name like "ERPTEST.XXXX.LOCAL" in windows host file and then adding FQDN PARAMETER IN SAP DEFAULT PROFILE as "erptest.xxx.local"

but still no go .

I get dump as below

"UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_FQDN"

"CX_FQDN=======================CP" or "CX_FQDN=======================CM002"

"CHECK"

I am sure its something related to FQDN as my system is in workgroup not in domain but the IT Guy has enabled Internet connection and i cannot use loopback adapter option.

Appreciate your help in fixing this issue on Workgroup PC.

I fixed the issue by myself by suffixing the DNS.Everything works fine now.

Have you checked the SAP note 1605680 - SYB: Troubleshoot the setup of the DBA Cockpit on Sybase ASE ?

Check the point 8 mentioned in this note.

Is there some information in the relevant work process trace file when the dump occurs ?

I couldn't fin much but it only says related to FQDN.

A  ABAP Program CX_FQDN=======================CP	.
A  Source CX_FQDN=======================CM002	Line 10.

A  Error Code UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION.

A  Module  $Id: //bas/720_REL/src/krn/runt/abexcp.c#7 $ SAP.

A  Function raiseExcp Line 3082.

The only problem that is in this system is the domain.As we understand that inorder to make dbacockpit work there should be FQDN assigned in sap profile parameter until unless that won't work but how to set up the fake domain ??

Can you ping and telnet the server IP and Hostname from workgroup PC?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I am able to ping the IP & hostname.

Able to telnet with ip/hostname ports (44300 & 8000) which used for http /https.

How are you calling DBACOCKPIT(directly URL?) from workgroup PC. Can you paste screenshot of error?

I am using dbacockpit tx from GUI.Even tried through url .It gives the same message.I also tried through SICF by testing webdynpro service and from there also not able to access.
