SAP Fiori on Android

Hi Experts, I have SAP fiori on my android, I am not able to see the login screen, even if the status in setting is set to 'Logging enabled'. It is showing an error logon failed.

Hi Asmita,

The setting 'Logging enabled' is to allow the fiori client application(your android app)  to generate log files which are needed only during troubleshooting.  So it is not relevant for you.

Check if you have done these steps.

First step: Enter your launchpad url in the app settings: Ensure the launchpad URL is correct and confirm if you can login to the same launchpad url even on your desktop.

Second step: Ensure your android device is connected to the correct network which can ping your application server. If your gatewar R/3 server is on an intranet(your company's network), then even your android device also should be connected to a network which has access to the application server.

Android device is connected to intranet. and when I am trying to open that link on mobile using Internet explorer, it is working.. but lanchpad is not created yet.

On IOS, certificate installed successfully.

Error was due certificate was not installed on ipad/iphone.. So i have downloded that certificate from SAP system usin strust trnasaction. export as .cer file which can only accessed by iphone/ipad. after it prmopts for the password , using device unloack password will work here to unlock and intall the certificate.

but while installing this certificate on Andriod mobile it is not accepting file '.cer' file.. so i changed to '.pfx', but still it will not allowing to unlock it.

I have created launch pad, now its working from desktop browser, its working from Mobile browser, but I am getting an error 'Certification error' on fiori client on mobile..

Hello.. thanks for information.. Now everything is worked successfully..!! I am getting count as well on my Fiori app on mobile but some tiles are displaying as '???' instead of count..

Yeah.. I have enter the same URL, and it is working fine on desktop. Is it necessary to create launchpad to run the fiori App?

1. Can you logon to SAP Fiori launchpad from desktop browser?

2. Can you logon to SAP Fiori launchpad from mobile device browser?

3. Can you logon to SAP Fiori launchpad from SAP Fiori Client app in mobile device?

Hello,

I have not created Launchpad yet.

I tried with one purchase order application.

I can access Purchaseorder tracking from Desktop and mobile browser but not from SAP Friori client ap.

Hi Asmita,

I guess you have implemented old apps. Please implement new UI and test with launchpad from desktop. If it works fine, it will work from SAP Fiori Client.

• Important Note: Please use new UI with new SAP Fiori launchpad

Hi Asmita . Are you referring to SAP Fiori Client for Android ?

Please share more information for what you are looking at ?
