GRC 10.1 - BRM - Y roles not getting imported

I am having issues with importing Y roles ( Composite roles ) into BRM using standard Role import functionality from the back end system. I was able to import all the single roles ( Z) , but not the composite ..

Is there any specific setttings we need to make for this to work ?

Hi, please check the naming convention for starting string of composte role. Also check role methodology in IMG.

I assume you are aware that all the single roles associated with the composite rolse are imported/available in the GRC system before importing composite roles? Also make sure that all sync jobs run against the connector which you are trying to import the composite roles.

Yeah , I have already imported all single roles ( Z) and the sync jobs completed succesfully. But not able to import Y roles ..

Do you get an error message? Did you try to run the job with overwritting existing roles?

Also check GRACROLE table if you have already something in with Y*?

have you tried using both from and to fields?

use from Y to YZZZZ...?

when you get to the screen to see the roles selected (just before you submit this job) , are there any roles shown ?

Thanks Kevin, I have tried and nothing showed up . The preview of the roles screen is just empty and no roles shown

Hi Alessandro, I havent got any error and the role does not exist in GRACROLE table.

It will show blank when i try to preview the roles or import the roles
