Asset Accounting Back end Job

Hi,

I am trying to close 2013 in asset accounting so that year 2015 can be opened. for this when i try to execute "AJAB" in back ground a screen pops up "Back Ground Print Parameters" i do mention the out put device and print all option after this i check the immediate start check in next popup screen. when i save it a message come up

"Background job was scheduled for program RAJABS00"

But when i go to "OAAQ" closed fiscal year is still "2012" What am i missing here? this print out information is not standard behavior as i haven't seen this in any other back ground processes.

After back ground job is being created this is the status i am getting in the spool:

Can any one guide me what options do i have to select before creating the pool request. what are the settings for starting immediately

Hi Jeetendra,

The reason why i am not able to open 2015 is because i have to close 2013 first. and the question here is that there was no SAP in my company in 2013 but when i try to open 2015 the system says that i have to close 2013 first as only two fiscal years can be opened at a time. how can i do this? why is system having 2013 open when SAP came to my organization in 2014? please help me.

this is most likely due to incorrect configuration at production startup.

Which error message does RAJABS bring up when executing in test mode in foreground?

Hi ,

first check status of back ground job  whether it is in finished status or waiting. once the job status is finished then you can check OAAQ.

Also i hope you have  you have successfully executed Ajab as well.
