ODS not available for Multicube

hi,

i am creating a multi[ provider based on infocube and ODS.I am able to select required Infocube but not ODS.I don't see my ODS under ODS Objects tab.My ODS is in active version.Any help from experts?

Hi,

Make sure that, there is a tick mark for reporting in the EDIT screen of ODS.

hi thanks 4 u replies.

when i check 'bex reporting' and try to activate,getting error.and error message is "When activating ODS object MI_SDF02 SIDs have to be got for all characteristic values in the ODS tables, provided that these characteristic values are not already assigned any SIDs. This is required because the SIDs are used in BEx Reporting"

Hi,

First of all ,Activate the Master data for all the characterstics being used in this cube .So it will create the SIDs for the newly loaded master data.Then change the seeting of ODS . and activate it.

Hi Ch,

Is it a warning or error?. If warning then you can ignore it.

Make sure you load all your master data info-objects existing in the ODS -> activate them. Now check the Bex Reporting checkbox.
