TRs are not being generated in Movement Type 261/262

Hi Gurus,

I am perfoming several material documents with movement type 261/262 and I don t know why in some cases the WM tab is generated without TR with only a storage bin.....so we don t have the possibility to take the TR and transform it into a TO....I have checked the configuration of the movement type in SPRO WM and everything seem to be OK, as usual....Any clue on this?

Many Thanks!!!!

Regards

WM tab will appear if you are doing stock posting in WM managed storage location.

Generation of TR , TO can we evaluated with movement type configuration for IM- WM

Please crosscheck same and let me know incase of any querys.

    Thanks

    • Hi Sil,

The scenario highlighted by you is a standard and correct behavior

If WM-PP is active then system picks the storage type and Storage bin value from control cycle and update the reservation table at the time of Production / process order

when you select "Goods Issue - Order" - then system goes and search the storage type and storage bin from the reservation table this storage type and storage bin gets stamped in the reservation based on the control cycle (Storage type 100 is a standard SAP storage type for WM PP area)

in case of "Goods Issue - Others" there is no previous reference number hence system creates a TR/ TO in intermediate location 914

      Hope this answer your query

    Hi Sil,

With the limited information it is very difficult to suggest what is the actual reason for system to behave differently. i can suggest one approach to compare the transactional data in between the scenario where u r getting the TR and another where u not getting the TR, Check TR relevant important parameter e.g. setting in movement type for TR creation, SLoc is WM managed or not

    Hi Manish,

Thanks a lot for your answer. Please let me undestand the following point. If I perform 261 in MIGO or in MB1A in a WM warehouse which It has NOT activated the PP-WM interface. the behaivor will be the same? I mean, in this case the Goods Issue w/ref. to the PP order will be created without TR and to a storage bin in Storage Type 100? and on the contrary, if in this example I generate a 261 as Goods Issue Others the WM tab will have Intermediate Storage Type 914 and it will have a TR number???

Please let me know yr comments....

    Thanks in advence! and Regards

      Dear Sil ,

Avoid using MB** transaction for goods posting , this might not be fully integrated with WM.

Try using C*** transaction for goods posting which is integrated fully with WM.

Try same and let me know .

      Thanks
