SAP UI5 Chart Annotation/Drawing Tool

Hi Experts,

We are developing a front-end solution for SAP MII using SAP UI5.

The customer would like to make annotations on charts to add explanations to the displayed data (see attached picture).

Does anyone know whether this is already possible (with layers or some other component)?

We have studied the SAP UI5 library, but could not find any such functionality.

If not currently available, does anyone know whether this is on the roadmap for SAP UI5?

Any feedback appreciated.
