Erreneous request and Delta problem in ODS

Hi guys..

I have a cube that gets it delta data from ODS..Due to a problem the a particular delts request i uploaded in to the cube is found errenous..So i need to delete that request with out loosing other subsequent deltas in the cube. Is it possible..Even if i loose the subsequent deltas after the erreneous request i am deleting , how do i reinitialize the delta and set the datamart status to Ok in the ODS and in the cube...So that i can continue loading delta's to the cube normally..

pls...help..

    Kishore,

2 quick questions before giving out ways to recover...

    1. Is this load using a generated datasource form ODS?

    2. Do you compress data in the cube?

    Hi,

If you cube is not compressed:

    - Delete from the cube all recent requests upto erroneous one (including this one also).

    - Delete from the ODS all requests corresponding to requests deleted from the cube.

    - Make init without data transfer during updating data from ODS to the cube (deleting the first init in the scheduler).

    - Load next request from PSA or the source system into ODS.

    - Update delta request from ODS to the cube.

    etc.

    Best regards,

    Eugene
