SBO Mailer SMTP settings Google Apps

I'm having problems with SBO Mailer settings for Google Apps. We are currently running SBO 8.82 PL09.

I would like to outgoing emails to be sent from an email alias, like info@companyname.com

I've tried using

smtp.gmail.com

port 25

smtp-relay.gmail.com

port 25

When I test connection, it successfully connects to server, but whenever I send test emails from SBO, they fail.
